Calstrip Steel occupies a 90,000 sq. ft. modern high-bay facility located 50 miles east of Los Angeles. Its location facilitates mill sourcing from West Coast mills and foreign steel through the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. The location allows servicing the Mexico border manufacturing locations of Tijuana, Tecate, Mexicali, and Nogales, all within 120-180 miles. The facility is serviced by 25-ton overhead cranes with an incoming rail spur into the facility for off-loading inbound 50,000 lb. mill coils, up to 60″ in width.
Products include flat-rolled carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and aluminum, including galvanized and pre-painted product in slit coil, traverse-wound narrow slit coil, and cut-to-length sheets and blanks, with gauge ranges of .010-.250″.
